Works Great, Looks Nice, Couldn't Be Happier!

Posted by Kristen on Jul 10th 2017

I'm in New Jersey and I ordered one of these just before flying out to Oregon for a couple of weeks. Now I was taking medication for a cough that instructed that I stay out of direct or prolonged sunlight and I couldn't exactly cover my scalp with sunblock, so this turned out to be exactly what I needed. We were sightseeing the waterfalls and hiking and I was pouring on the sunblock, but this kept me shaded and cool. Anytime we headed out, whether kayaking, hiking, or just stopping at an overlook on the highway, I reached for this hat. The image is a bit bright, but the hat is more khaki in person and the underside of the brim is a dark brown that is easy on the eyes when it is worn. I haven't bothered to myself, but the hat comes crushed flat in a bag and I was told by the wonderful folks at GG that the best way to get the wrinkles out is to steam it.
