About Glacier
The Glacier Glove legacy began in 1982, focused on developing the world’s best fishing gloves. Glacier quickly expanded into producing high quality gloves for hunting and sun protection gear for hands and heads.
The avid outdoorsmen needs to have warmth and comfort, but also the dexterity to function comfortably in the outdoors. Since 1982, Glacier has been utilizing innovative fabrics and designs, striving to make the outdoor experience more comfortable and functional.
Over time, as more outdoor enthusiasts discovered the benefits of Glacier Glove products, Glacier Glove established itself as a leader in cold weather gloves. Glacier Glove products utilized windproof fleece and neoprene to function in the cold, wet, or windy conditions.
As Glacier Glove began to see the increasing demand for sun protection products, Glacier developed sun protection gear for the hands and the head. While creating the best sun gloves available, Glacier stuck to the basics that make Glacier Gloves the best: quality, dexterity, and comfort.
Like Glacier Gloves fishing and hunting gloves, all of our sun protection products are designed with a purpose. Glacier made a commitment to provide products of 50+UPF and they are tested to verify the rating. Sun protection gloves also greatly reduce the dependency of sun lotions and creams that could enter our cherished streams, lakes and oceans.
Fisherman, Hunters, Paddlers, Competitive Cyclists, Ice Climbers, Hikers, Navy Seals, U.S. Coast Guard, Antarctic Expeditions, Climbers on Mt. Everest and Aconcagua, SUP, Surfers, Kayakers, the U.S. Treasury Department during the 2004 Winter Olympics, and Outdoor Enthusiasts throughout the world have used Glacier Glove products.
